Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals and groups, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to patient needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, continuously assessing and adapting approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• Collaborate with a diverse interdisciplinary team, participating in regular case consultations to optimize patient care strategies.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families navigating complex emotional experiences related to hospice care.
• Facilitate educational workshops and support groups to empower patients and their families with coping strategies and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on hospice patients and their families, who may be experiencing a range of emotional responses including grief, anxiety, and depression. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients process their emotions and navigate the challenges associated with end-of-life care. Your compassionate approach will help foster a supportive environment, allowing clients to find comfort during a transformative period.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• A current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington is essential.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services is required.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing tailored treatment plans that meet individual client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices, cultural competence, and social justice principles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling practices.
• Skills in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
