We're seeking a dependable, safety-focused Bobtail Driver for a dedicated local route in Pomona. This role involves picking up and delivering freight throughout Southern California while providing timely service and professional customer interactions. Drivers return home daily.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $16.90 per hour plus overtime
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Home daily

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local freight pickups and deliveries throughout Southern California.
• Operate a bobtail truck safely and in compliance with applicable DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Load and unload palletized or loose freight as required.
• Use a pallet jack to move freight.
• Maintain accurate pickup and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, issues, and route updates.
• Provide professional customer service at every stop.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid Class C or Class B driver’s license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to operate a bobtail safely in high-traffic and industrial areas.
• Ability to lift and move freight as necessary.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with delivery procedures, route planning, and trip logs.
