Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist within our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for couples and families, integrating various therapeutic modalities.
• Providing both group and individual therapy sessions to address issues such as conflict resolution, communication difficulties, and grief management.
• Specializing in family dynamics by working with entire families to foster understanding and resolve conflicts, including addressing issues of blended families, separation, and divorce.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to manage and treat addiction issues, trauma, and psychological challenges.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, actively participating in case conferences and treatment reviews.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals, couples, and whole families dealing with a variety of challenges such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues
• Physical and psychological trauma
• Grief and loss
• Family conflict and communication issues
• Adjustment disorders related to life transitions, including divorce and remarriage
• Stresses associated with medical issues and job-related pressures

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for candidates applying for the LMFT role:

• Active LMFT license within the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
