Trans-Phos, Inc., is looking for a skilled General Repair Mechanic to support our Night Shift operations. This role involves maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and trailers at our terminal. We offer competitive weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a team-focused work environment.

• Location: Central Florida
• Shift: Night
• Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts | Overtime & weekends as needed
• Expected Hours: 45 – 50 per week

• Perform scheduled maintenance and general repairs, including tire changes, brake system repairs, steering and suspension work, and diesel engine servicing.
• Diagnose and address minor mechanical issues, replacing parts such as lights, mud flaps, belts, hoses, and filters under the direction of the Fleet Manager.
• Maintain terminal grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist in roadside cleanup efforts and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Conduct routine oil changes, lubrication, and inspections to ensure fleet reliability.
• Report potential mechanical failures or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Support special projects and additional tasks assigned by the Fleet Manager or Operations Team.

✔ Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
✔ Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues
✔ Experience reading service manuals & work orders
✔ Efficient repair skills to minimize downtime

???? Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation
???? Basic Hand Tools (REQUIRED)
???? Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work on uneven surfaces
