Summary:
The Member Services Staff (MSS) are an integral part of the nature of Traditions Club. As the first line of representation for Traditions Club, the MSS provides critical services to members and their guests. The positions demands professional and enthusiastic service at all times. The employee must be visible at all times to assist members and their guests in any way possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Greeting members and guests. Removing golf bags from their cars and/or club storage and setting them on golf cars prior to play.
- Bag storage. Each morning, the tee sheet should be reviewed to anticipate member play. Inspect the member’s clubs to assure they have been cleaned prior to placing them on a golf car. Upon completion of play, clean clubs prior to storing the member’s clubs.
- Golf car operation. The goal of Traditions Club is to provide every player with a neat, clean golf car that operates flawlessly. Stock each car with towels, water and ice, scorecard, pencil, tees, sand bottles and daily cards. Perform monthly maintenance, and periodic repairs and services. Check golf cars in and out as the day progresses.
- Practice range, 19th hole and TAMU Golf Learning Center. Assist by replenishing the supply of practice balls at each practice area, cleaned and stored. Provide high levels of customer service while on the practice tee. Patrol the practice area for loose trash and maintain practice areas in an orderly fashion.
- Help the Golf Shop/Professional Staff in adhering to the players’ assigned tee times by directing them to the Golf Shop, first tee and practice areas. Maintain communication with the Golf Shop/Professional Staff to ensure all club rules, including dress code, are followed by our guests.
- Assist members and their guests as they depart from Traditions Club. Thoroughly clean all clubs, and at no time shall a member or guest load their clubs into their automobile.
