Security Officer – Middleton, OH Site

Position Overview

The Security Officer assigned to the Middleton, OH facility is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for all employees, visitors, contractors, and assets on site. This role supports daily operational stability through proactive monitoring, access control, incident response, and consistent communication with the site supervisor and dedicated account manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Visitor Management

  • Monitor and manage entry/exit points for employees, vendors, and visitors.

  • Verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate logs.

• Patrol & Surveillance

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled interior and exterior patrols.

  • Observe and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations.

• Incident Response & Reporting

  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.

  • Document all incidents in detailed, professional reports.

  • Escalate critical issues to the site supervisor and account manager.

• Customer Service & Professional Conduct

  • Provide courteous assistance to employees and visitors.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all site protocols.

  • Support client operations through clear communication and reliable performance.

• Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce site policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in required training, drills, and briefings.

  • Maintain awareness of environmental, operational, and security risks.

Qualifications

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

• Strong communication and observation skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Must meet all background, licensing, and training requirements for the State of Ohio.
