VFC Lightning Protection Job Opportunity

Hands-on work, incredible starting pay, and long-term growth – this job has it all!

Tired of the same old routine? Looking for a rewarding career where you can work with your hands, earn top-tier pay, and build a massive future? VFC Lightning Protection is hiring motivated individuals for a major, long-term project in Eagle Mountain, UT!

Since 1986, we've been leading the way in protecting buildings, infrastructure, and lives from nature's most electrifying force. Join us, and you'll get top-tier training, exceptional project pay, and the chance to build a career that truly makes an impact.

Project pay spotlight:

We are offering an exclusive $10.00/hr incentive pay bump specifically for this Eagle Mountain project. This means you will start at an incredible $30.80/hr ($20.80 base + $10.00 project incentive). Employees must work a minimum of 40 hours per week to qualify for the project incentive pay. Minimum hours required are subject to change based on project schedule and business needs. This is a premier opportunity to earn premium wages while gaining the hands-on experience needed to transition into a permanent Installer role making $40.00/hr!

Why you'll love this job:

Excellent earning potential — $20.80/hr base starting pay + a $10.00/hr incentive pay bump for the duration of this project (approx. 2 years) = $30.80/hr to start! Employees must work a minimum of 40 hours per week to qualify for the project incentive pay. Minimum hours required are subject to change based on project schedule and business needs.

Clear career roadmap — complete this project successfully, and we can transition you into a standard Installer role at $40.00/hr base pay!

$500 signing bonus – a warm welcome after 6 months!

$500 referral bonus – get paid to bring great people aboard!

Medical, dental & vision insurance – because your health matters.

Zero-harm safety culture – we put safety first, always.

Tuition reimbursement – keep growing, on us.

401K matching – build your financial future.

Extensive training opportunities – no experience? No problem.

Company swag & team events – work hard, have fun!

What we're looking for:

Ready to commit to a premier 2-year project local to Eagle Mountain (standard positions after the project will transition to a traditional travel schedule as the temporary local incentive ends).

Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week to remain eligible for project incentive pay (minimum hours required are subject to change based on project schedule and business needs).

18+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED.

Able to pass a medical exam & drug test.

A licensed driver with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).

Physically fit – can lift up to 80 lbs. and work comfortably on rooftops and ladders.

Honest, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

Construction or electrical experience is a huge plus!

What you'll be doing:

Installing lightning protection systems on high roofs and specialized grounding projects.

Reading blueprints and construction plans to ensure top-tier installations.

Handling and installing lightning protection cables.

Ensuring all work complies with onsite safety regulations.

Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

Tackling other duties as assigned—because every day is an adventure!

If you're ready to work hard, earn incredible money, and lock in a career with massive growth potential, this is the job for you! Apply today and join the VFC Lightning Protection team!
