Medical Assistant/Coordinator

Top Medical Talent is excited to represent a reconstructive and aesthetic surgical practice in Rosedale, MD, seeking a Medical Assistant/Coordinator for its expanding operations.

The Medical Assistant/Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse set of skills and a willingness to learn many facets of the practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in a plastic surgery setting or similar, along with medical assistant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle instruments and oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Provide direct patient care, including clinic consultations and discussing cosmetic procedure pricing.
  • Assist with scheduling, billing, and insurance approval processes.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and willingness to learn.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in medical office management
  • Experience in esthetics and surgical procedures.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience with billing systems (EMR) and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with managing social media platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook.
