We’re looking for aGraveyard Supervisor join ourLakeview division, located in Williams Lake, British Columbia.  Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over 230 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.  
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of leadership experience preferably within a manufacturing environment. 
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including enforcing safety regulations and policies, proactively identifying and mitigating hazards, and fostering a safety-first culture.
• Maintenance knowledge/experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
• Excellent work-ethic, communication, organizational and time management skills to lead by example, engage your team, plan the work and get things done. 
• Troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth daily operations. 
• A creative problem solver who thinks beyond the obvious and executes with a vison and with precision.

In this role you will:

• Demonstrate your commitment to safety by leading by example and ensuring every employee goes home safe.
• Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to the graveyard shift.
• Lead daily start-ups and safety meetings, ensuring work is planned, communicated, and executed safely and efficiently.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards, taking proactive action to address safety concerns.
• Empower and develop your team to meet all safety, recovery, quality and production targets consistently.
• Provide meaningful feedback and support to your team to ensure that your team is engaged.
