Work Environment

Although your work is conducted primarily from home, you will be actively engaged with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals at our outpatient hospice center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health needs.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Administer one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing solution-focused methodologies, to work towards client goals.
• Manage and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings with colleagues to enhance the quality of care delivered.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, thereby empowering them with vital knowledge and coping strategies.
• Stay informed about ongoing research and advancements in mental health practices to improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Together Tomorrow Counseling, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Particularly, you will provide support within our hospice center environment, offering psychological and emotional care to patients and their families during end-of-life scenarios, which requires sensitivity, empathy, and a thorough understanding of complex mental health dynamics.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• At least three years of clinical experience specifically in psychotherapy.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions, demonstrating familiarity with various evidence-based practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities to foster positive client engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with hospice patients or within palliative care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual counseling platforms will enhance your ability to provide effective support from a remote environment.

• Competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
