Job description

The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports children's cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language development. The Lead Teacher supervises classroom staff, maintains a high-quality learning environment, and collaborates with program leadership to ensure excellence in all aspects of classroom operations.


  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in an early childhood classroom.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring classroom staff preferred.
  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must successfully complete all required background clearances.
