Role Description The Independent Carpenter/Subcontractor role involves performing a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors, windows, trim, and cabinetry, and finish carpentry work to ensure high-quality results. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, measuring and cutting materials, operating hand and power tools safely, and collaborating with project leads and other trades on job sites. The Carpenter/Subcontractor will maintain a clean, organized work area, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to timely project completion while representing Timber Valley Construction professionally with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be licensed and insured in the state of Wisconsin.
• Candidates should possess strong Carpentry and Framing skills for residential remodeling projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with Power Tools and Hand Tools, including safe operation and basic maintenance.
• Candidates should possess solid Finish Carpentry skills for detailed trim, cabinetry, and final install work.
• Ability to read blueprints or construction plans and accurately measure, cut, and install building materials.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Neenah, WI and ability to work full-time on-site.
• Commitment to safety practices, jobsite cleanliness, and high-quality workmanship.
• Previous residential remodeling or construction experience preferred; relevant apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus.
