Tiger Mart Grand Prairie

Tiger Mart Grand Prairie Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient checkout transactions. This role also assists with maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store to provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions while maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving customer concerns.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
• Monitor merchandise levels and notify management when inventory is low.
• Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping counters, emptying trash, and maintaining clean restrooms and store areas.
• Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, safety, and loss prevention.
• Assist with other store duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
