About the Role and Impact


Three Rivers Therapy is a mission driven behavioral health organization serving Washington State for over 10 years, focused on empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and transforming lives. As an Associate Outpatient Counselor, you will provide therapeutic services to children, youth, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support client growth and progress. 


This role provides supervised clinical experience toward licensure and is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience, strong supervision, and the opportunity to build confidence in assessment, care coordination, and clinical decision-making. 


You will be eligible to receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus upon completion of your first 90 days of employment, provided you have an active Associate license at that time. If your Associate license is not active by your 90-day mark, the sign-on bonus will be paid on the first applicable pay period following confirmation that your license has become active. 


What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches 
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning 
  • Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and relapse prevention support 
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation 
  • Meet productivity expectations through direct service hours 
  • Provide psychoeducation and connect clients with community resources 
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in clinical meetings and supervision 
  • Continue developing your clinical skills through ongoing training and education 


What You’ll Bring and What You’ll Get

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field 
  • Active Washington State Associate license, LMHCA, LICSWA, LMFTA
  • Experience providing outpatient therapy using evidence-based approaches 
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to manage a full caseload 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Compensation: 

  • Associate Licensed Clinician: $34.65 to $42.08/hour 
  • Incentive Bonus
