Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage the reservation system and seat guests efficiently to maintain proper flow.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate with guests regarding table availability.
- Answer guest inquiries and assist in making their dining experience exceptional.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth guest transitions and a high level of service.
Qualifications
- Experience in high volume, upscale causal dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
- Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
- Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
- Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
- Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
- Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-pace setting.
