By leveraging technology, our LPCC will enhance patient accessibility to therapy, ultimately aiming to improve clinical outcomes.

About the Organization

Think Better Counseling Solutions is committed to offering holistic mental health services that empower individuals to achieve their personal and emotional goals. Located in California, we serve a diverse clientele through a network of community health clinics, focusing on inclusive, accessible care. Our client-centered approach fosters an environment of understanding and support, where counselors can make vital connections with patients who rely on our services.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from a comfortable and flexible environment while still engaging with clients in a meaningful way. The role is primarily structured around telehealth, enabling you to interact with patients using modern video conferencing tools. Our collaborative work culture thrives on teamwork, even from a distance; full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure you excel in using our digital systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Psychosocial Assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health and substance use issues, laying the groundwork for effective treatment.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that clearly outline therapeutic goals tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain precise and detailed records of patient progress, ensuring that therapeutic adjustments are data-driven and continually informed by client feedback.
  • Employ evidence-based interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize care delivery and promote positive client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, medical practitioners, and other mental health professionals, sharing insights and resources to foster a comprehensive support network for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPCC will work primarily with a diverse client population, including adults facing a variety of mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, all seeking compassionate and effective care. This role focuses on delivering services that meet their unique needs while maintaining a respectful and safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • An active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a counseling role, with demonstrated expertise in telehealth practices and electronic documentation systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong familiarity with digital counseling tools, including telehealth platforms that facilitate remote therapy sessions.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirements ensure foundational competencies, preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Experience in a community health setting, particularly with underserved populations.
  • Proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or motivational interviewing.
  • A background that includes working with various cultural and socio-economic groups, ensuring an inclusive approach to care.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Full health insurance coverage for employees and their eligible dependents.
