Position Overview

Therapy with Purpose, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team as a full-time member. This remote position offers a rare opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team within a Community Health Clinic setting, focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care to diverse clientele.

Work Environment

This full-time remote position allows for flexibility while ensuring collaboration and connection with fellow professionals in mental health. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, documenting mood disorders while evaluating the severity and duration of symptoms.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique needs and facilitate evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health conditions, enhancing understanding and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to create a cohesive care plan.
  • Regularly review and adjust treatment strategies based on client progress and emerging needs to optimize mental health outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes while adhering to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in team consultations and case reviews, fostering collaborative learning and knowledge exchange among peers.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness within the community, promoting initiatives that support emotional well-being and accessibility to mental health services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Understanding the unique cultural contexts and personal histories of clients will be essential for establishing effective therapeutic rapport and facilitating positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families, employing various therapeutic models such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, and systems therapy.
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
