Job description


At Therapy Source, our mission is to pave the way for children's success worldwide. We are currently seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Part-time to Full-Time Virtual)to provide in-person services to charter K-12 school students. This position is for the current school year.
Teacher of the Visually Impaired Salary: $100 per hour
Teacher of the Visually Impaired Qualifications:
  • Hold licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in the state of Ohio.
  • Possess School Certification in the state of Ohio.
  • Have up-to-date clearances, or express a willingness to obtain them.
  • Provide proof of individual professional liability insurance or express a willingness to obtain it.

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct services with the use of the appropriate mode of communication
  • Conducting assessments to determine the developmental status and academic status
  • Managing classroom resources
  • Recommending and assisting with adaptations for classroom instruction
  • Participating in training and meetings as needed
