This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our hospital facility, where you will be part of a collaborative healthcare team. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations. You will work alongside talented Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound devices, and advanced exercise equipment.

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans that improve patient mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, and engaging activities designed to promote physical well-being and alleviate discomfort.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and establish home exercise programs to ensure a seamless transition from therapy.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities through electronic medical record systems.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain organization of equipment and supplies for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients during their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment conducive to recovery.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of care.

As a PTA, you will serve a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric patients recovering from sports injuries to geriatric patients navigating post-surgical rehabilitation. You will also encounter individuals with neurological conditions like stroke or traumatic brain injuries, each requiring a personalized approach to their rehabilitation journey. Your role is pivotal in empowering these patients to overcome challenges and make strides towards their recovery goals.

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with a minimum of an Associate Degree.
• A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant to practice in Texas.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and the principles of rehabilitative care.
• Competence in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities under the guidance of supervising Physical Therapists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and work collaboratively within a diverse clinical team.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
