Work Environment

This is a remote full-time position, allowing you the convenience of working from home while reaching clients in your licensed state. The role is supported by a user-friendly digital platform that serves as your personal online office, enabling you to manage your schedule, client bookings, and counseling sessions effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual counseling services through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for your clients.
• Diagnose and treat a diverse range of emotional and mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, stress, and grief, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct therapeutic sessions with clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, allowing for personal insight and growth.
• Guide clients in developing coping strategies and skills to make informed decisions and progress towards their personal goals.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Affinity team to improve service delivery and participate in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at The Wellness Affinity, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who are eager to participate in their mental health journeys. Our clients are pre-screened for appropriateness, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care without the pressures associated with high-risk cases. Your expertise will help empower them through counseling, fostering a positive therapeutic alliance and engagement in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current independent licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficient computer literacy skills to effectively navigate telehealth platforms and maintain client records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of direct clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation decisions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
