Perform inspection, repair, and replacement of aircraft sheet metal structures in compliance with FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and company policies. Interpret technical data and fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft sheet metal components while maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and supporting safe aircraft maintenance operations.

#Education & Job Requirements
*Valid Driver's License
*3+ years of experience in aircraft structural repair
*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
*Ability to organize and plan work to meet deadlines
*Possess the ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and mathematical skills
*Able to interpret and apply technical data related to aircraft structural repair
*Hands-on experience safely driving and operating a standard shift vehicle and other applicable equipment
*Can work independently or with supervision
*Willing to work at both the Marana, AZ, and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Job Duties & Functions
*Research technical data and perform inspection, repair, and replacement of aircraft sheet metal structures, including main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams, in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies
*Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to determine fabrication, assembly, and installation methods
*Plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts, equipment, and products using knowledge of metallic and nonmetallic materials, machining, and layout techniques
*Select appropriate gauge and type of sheet metal, including stainless steel, aluminum, steel, or nonmetallic material, including plastics and fiberglass, based on specifications
*Lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using tools such as scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers, applying shop mathematics and layout techniques to develop and trace patterns
*Perform maintenance work, including repair and upkeep of company equipment and shop housekeeping
*Complete required documentation, including Component Removal Log entries, identification tags, repairable/parts routing tags, and work cards
*Document training received on training records with appropriate lead, supervisor, or manager sign-off
*Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with safety regulations
*Direct activities to maintain safe working conditions and protect employees from harm
*Participate in safety education programs and training to recognize and report workplace hazards
*Report errors, incidents, and accidents honestly in accordance with company policies and government regulations
*Notify supervisors of unsafe actions, conditions, incidents, accidents, or corrective actions taken
*Alert appropriate responders and supervision in the event of an accident or incident, and take reasonable steps to prevent further injury or damage
#Physical Requirements & Environment
*Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
*Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level
*Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 lbs unassisted
*Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, corrected vision, and hearing to normal range
*Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, materials identified on Safety Data Sheets, working on unprotected heights or around moving machinery, and aircraft fuel tank entry
*Use of hydraulic press brake, power shear, forming equipment, hand tools, lift equipment, stands, ladders, glass beading equipment, rivet guns, and drills
*Requires use of goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, safety harnesses, and breathing equipment
