The company specializes in non-surgical and surgical cosmetic services across multiple locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Founded 40 years ago, TSC has established itself as a regional market leader in the Mid-Atlantic and is looking for high-performing individuals to join its team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reconciliations and month-end close activities, and help ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, dependable, and eager to develop their accounting skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and customer account maintenance.
• Prepare and perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation as directed.
• Review accounting records for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.
• Assist with maintaining the general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, management reports, and accounting analyses.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and records.
• Support the preparation of audit schedules and provide documentation requested by internal or external auditors.
• Assist with tax and regulatory reporting activities as needed.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Follow established internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain and verify financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience; internships and relevant academic experience are welcome.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
