TITLE: P/T Secretary
SALARY: $23.00-$24.00/ hr.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma, secretarial training
2. Knowledge of automated office equipment and computers and efficient office procedures
3. Strong analytical, communication, and human relations skills
4. Minimum of three years' experience in general or school office work
5. Good organizational skills
REPORTS TO: School Administration
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate the efficient workflow relative to the school.
2. Perform all secretarial and confidential work as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
3. Supervise and assist in the processing of incoming correspondence and in the preparation of all correspondence and reports.
4. Place and receive telephone calls and record messages for the school.
5. Maintain a regular filing system as well as a set of locked confidential files.
6. Maintain a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences, meetings, and interviews.
7. Maintain personnel records of all staff.
8. Act as a liaison between the school and administrative staff in screening and routing inquiries and requests from parents and staff members.
9. Orders for the school (supplies, software, etc.) as needed and complete purchase order requests.
10. Manage student activity bank account including monthly reconciliation.
11. Serve as a liaison to human resources and payroll departments for staff paperwork.
12. Collect timesheets, receive approval from the appropriate administrator and forward to payroll.
13. Assist with field trips and job training sites including coordination of transportation, purchase orders and agenda approval.
14. Assist with building use requests including approvals by administration and add to agenda.
15. Coordinate professional development requests including approvals and purchase orders.
16. Perform all other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time, twelve months M-F schedule (29hrs/week)
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Bayshore Commission Board's policy evaluation of professional personnel.
