Role Description The Trading Operations Specialist is a full-time, role based in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Securities Operations Specialist to join our institutional trading desk. In this pivotal role, you and another co-worker will be responsible for managing the daily operations related to the settlement of securities transactions. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a team environment, with excellent communication skills, oral and written, to discuss the settlement of trades with our co-workers, clients and custodian. Your expertise will help facilitate a seamless clearing experience for our clients. This is a self-starter environment with a reputation for a high quality of service to our clients.

Duties

• Oversee and process securities settlements through our order management system with precision and timeliness.
• Professionally provide support via phone and email.
• Effectively communicate with our co-workers and clients on the settlement of securities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in securities operations within a financial services environment.
• Familiarity with financial software platforms used for transaction processing.
• Ability to comprehend functions and procedures to disseminate that information in a clear and precise manner to others.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Self motivated team player who is willing to learn
