Hot Spot Meridian

As a Fronter, you're the anchor of a great studio visit from start to finish. You'll welcome guests, get them oriented and seated, and walk them through whichever of our seven projects they've chosen. Behind the scenes, you'll help keep pottery moving through the studio -from glaze dip to kiln to a bag in the guest's hands. Six months in, you'll know every project in and out, run the register without a second thought, and be someone's new teammate to look to for how it's done.

Required:

• Comfortable talking with people and genuinely enjoy customer-facing work.
• Able to stand, move around the studio, and lift pottery and kiln shelves for most of a shift.
• Reliable and on time, guests are counting on you to be there.
• Comfortable working near a hot kiln and following basic safety procedures.
• Able to learn and confidently explain multiple hands-on projects.

Preferred (nice to have):

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or another guest-facing role
• Experience with pottery, ceramics, or another craft

The Hot Spot is a hands-on pottery studio in Meridian where guests come to paint pottery and create across seven different project experiences. We're a small, busy shop that runs on good energy, clear communication, and people who take pride in a job well done — whether that's a warm greeting at the door or a perfectly loaded kiln shelf.
