  • Work with the team to test new applications and processes

    • Confidence speaking in front of small groups and teaching others
    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn handheld laser welding technology
    • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently (up to 50%)

    Bonus Qualifications

These are helpful but not required:

    • Experience with handheld laser welding
    • AWS certifications
    • Previous training or teaching experience
    • Experience supporting customers or working in field service
    • Familiarity with manufacturing environments such as aerospace, automotive, or general fabrication

    What Makes Someone Successful

The best person for this role:

    • Communicates clearly with customers and coworkers
    • Can relate to welders, supervisors, and engineers alike
    • Solves problems calmly and practically
    • Is comfortable working both in the shop and in front of a classroom
    • Likes traveling and meeting new people
    • Wants to be part of the future of welding technology

    Why Join HLI?

You'll work with some of the newest manufacturing technology in the welding industry while helping shape the future workforce. Every week is different—you may be teaching a class, helping a manufacturer improve production, testing new applications, or demonstrating equipment at an industry event.

If you're passionate about welding, enjoy working with people, and want to help advance the adoption of handheld laser welding across North America, we'd love to hear from you.
