The Green Cause is a youth-led environmental nonprofit dedicated to educating our future generations and platforming young environmental stewards & leaders. Through engaging educational workshops, community initiatives, and our chapter program, we empower youth and communities to take action in protecting our planet. Our mission is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and inspiring the next generation to lead sustainable lifestyles and create lasting impact.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Chapter Coordinator is responsible for managing all current chapters, maintaining communication, ensuring proper registration, and providing necessary support. They also help with local and international chapter outreach. This position reports to the Lead Coordinators and may expand based on geographic region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain regular communication with chapters, scheduling at least once a month check-in meetings and potentially more task specific meetings (assisting with grant applications, discussing project/event ideas, supporting their social media & educational work)
• Ensure chapters are properly registered and supported
• Review chapter applications and schedule onboarding meetings
• Conduct chapter outreaching
• Report updates to Lead Coordinators

Please note that this is an unpaid position, but we do award community service hours.
