Job Purpose

The Host delivers a polished, discreet first impression that reflects Executive Branch's standard of professionalism and excellence for every member and guest interaction, managing flow and seating with grace.

Position Overview

The Host serves as the first point of contact and brand ambassador for the club, ensuring a warm, personalized welcome while managing reservations, seating, and guest flow with discretion.

Principal (Essential) Duties

• Greet members and guests with a polished, professional demeanor.
• Manage reservations, table assignments, and waitlists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and communicate preferences to the service team.
• Maintain the reception area to reflect the club's standards of luxury.
• Ensure confidentiality and comfort of all members at all times.

Secondary Duties

• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of fine dining service standards, etiquette, and luxury hospitality expectations.
• Poised, polished, and professional communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and guest preferences.
• Ability to multitask and manage flow under pressure during high-volume service.
• Proficiency with reservation systems.

Experience / Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Host in fine dining or luxury hospitality.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

• Operate with a strong work ethic and willingness to work additional hours and atypical shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to a full shift) on the dining floor.
• See, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, bend, stretch, twist, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
