Construction Contract Coordinator 2 - Immediate W2 contract position available in Valdosta, GA.

JOB SUMMARY:
- This position reports to the Distribution Construction Supervisor and is responsible for contract crews performing overhead/underground new construction maintenance trouble calls and storm response.
- This position is also responsible for overhead re-conducting, cable replacement, storm duty, the safety of service crews and their performance.
Experience Requirements:
- Extensive Distribution engineering and/or construction experience required: maintenance, overhead, and underground construction knowledge.
- Seven Years Distribution Experience.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel), Distribution Viewer, ARMS, CSS, TCMS and JETS preferred.
- Ability to analyze drawings, blueprints, specifications, proposals, and project documentation.
- Demonstrated Safety Excellence.
Job Description:
- Manage and coordinate contracts for various projects and departments.
- Play a key role in contract negotiation and drafting.
- Monitor and track changes to contracts, including amendments.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams on contract matters.
- Assess and mitigate contract-related risks.
- Provide guidance on contract-related issues to project teams.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract database.
- Analyze and evaluate contract performance and compliance.
- Assist in contract dispute resolution efforts.
- Mentor junior contract coordinators.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Coordinating contract resources to ensure Distribution Construction Achieves Safety Excellence, budgetary needs, productivity, schedules, customer satisfaction and quality goals.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling/planning, attending pre-construction meetings, quality control, inventory and closing out assigned projects.
- To be effective in this position, the incumbent must work well with and communicate with Engineering and other departments, internal and external customers, builders, developers, electricians, claims, etc.
- This job will require an alternate work schedule to accomplish the listed responsibilities.

Other:
- Work schedule - Monday through Thursday, 4-10-hour workdays. Additional hours may be required for planned and scheduled outages to meet the customer’s needs, which include working evenings, weekends and holidays
