Job description

Ecommerce Digital Marketing Manager — The Core Collab

Eat Sleep Reform Repeat.

We're The Core Collab. We build world-class Pilates equipment — reformers and our flagship Sculptformer — for home users and studio owners. We're not a marketing company that stumbled into fitness. We ran Pilates studios for 20+ years before we ever built a machine, and that's exactly why our equipment sells.

We're scaling hard in the US right now. We need someone who can own the digital engine that gets a $2,000–$5,000 reformer into a customer's living room — and do it profitably, at volume.

What you'll own

  • Paid acquisition end to end — Meta and Google Ads. Strategy, build, creative briefs, testing, scaling, and killing what doesn't work.
  • ROAS and CAC. You own the numbers, not just the campaigns. You'll report on them weekly and defend them.
  • Our Shopify storefronts across three markets (US, AU, Europe) — CRO, product pages, offers, upsells, checkout flow.
  • Email and SMS in GoHighLevel — flows, campaigns, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back.
  • The full funnel from ad click to closed sale, working alongside our sales coordinator on lead quality and handoff.
  • Analytics and attribution — GA4, pixel/conversion tracking, and a clean weekly dashboard that tells us where every dollar went.
  • Creative direction for ads and organic — briefing photographers, editors, and UGC creators. You don't have to shoot it, but you have to know what converts.

You're a fit if you have

  • 4+ years running paid acquisition for a DTC ecommerce brand, with real budget responsibility ($30k+/month).
  • Proven experience selling a high-ticket product — $1,000+ AOV, considered purchase, longer decision cycle. This is not a $40 t-shirt.
  • Deep hands-on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. You build campaigns yourself; you're not briefing an agency.
  • Strong Shopify skills — you can diagnose why a product page isn't converting and fix it.
  • Email/SMS automation experience (GoHighLevel, Klaviyo, or similar).
  • Comfort with numbers. You can read a P&L line, calculate contribution margin, and tell us honestly when a channel isn't working.
  • Direct, clear communication. We move fast and we don't do corporate.

Bonus points

  • You know Pilates, fitness, or wellness — as a customer, instructor, or marketer.
  • You've scaled a brand from ~$1M to $10M+.
  • Experience with multi-market/multi-currency ecommerce.
  • Video editing or creative production chops.

Why this role

  • You'll work directly with the founder. No layers, no committee, no waiting three weeks for approval.
  • Real budget and real autonomy from day one.
  • A product people genuinely love — check our reviews.
  • We're in the fastest growth phase of the business. What you build here, you'll point to for the rest of your career.

Compensation & benefits

  • Comeptitve base, depending on experience.
  • Performance bonus tied to ROAS and revenue targets.
  • Remote, US-based.

How to apply

Apply through ZipRecruiter with your resume. In your application, tell us: one paid campaign you ran that worked, one that didn't, and what you learned from the one that didn't. We read these — generic applications get skipped.
