Charlie Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify mental health issues, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to provide individual, group, and family therapy, equipping clients with coping strategies and resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure each client receives holistic support.
• Offer crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, employing your expertise in de-escalation and emotional support.
• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives that promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our client population includes individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and more. A commitment to cultural competence will be essential in building rapport and establishing therapeutic relationships with clients from different ethnic and socioeconomic groups.

Qualifications

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
• Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate and timely documentation of client progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing mental health services in a remote or telehealth setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to facilitate client management and documentation.
• A background in community mental health or substance use treatment settings is a plus, particularly with clients in a detox center environment.
