The Butcher’s Daughter is coming to Austin, and we’re building our opening team!

The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-forward restaurant, café, and juice bar known for vibrant, seasonal food, thoughtful hospitality, and spaces designed to bring people together. With locations in Los Angeles and New York, we’re excited to bring The Butcher’s Daughter to South Congress in Austin.

We’re currently looking for experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team.

Our Servers are at the heart of the guest experience. You’ll guide guests through our food and beverage offerings, provide knowledgeable and attentive service, and help create the warm, energetic hospitality The Butcher’s Daughter is known for.

This is a high-volume restaurant, and we are looking for experienced professionals who are confident managing a busy section while maintaining genuine, thoughtful hospitality.

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout the guest experience
• Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere at every table
• Develop a strong understanding of our food, cocktail, wine, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverage programs
• Confidently explain menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations
• Make thoughtful recommendations and guide guests through the menu
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders
• Manage multiple tables and priorities efficiently during high-volume service
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain consistent table maintenance throughout the meal
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar, hosts, support staff, and management
• Follow proper steps of service and restaurant standards
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service stations
• Work collaboratively with the entire FOH and BOH team
• Handle guest questions or concerns professionally and involve a manager when appropriate
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace

• Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a busy, high-volume restaurant required
• Strong understanding of restaurant service and hospitality
• Comfortable managing a busy section while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong food and beverage knowledge; wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork
• Reliable, professional, and punctual
• Willingness to learn our menu, standards, and steps of service
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excited to be part of a new restaurant opening and help establish a strong team culture
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS
