Role Description The Insurance Professional role is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX. In this role, the individual meets with clients to understand their coverage needs and recommends suitable Medicare, ACA, life, and final expense insurance solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, explaining policy options and benefits, preparing quotes and applications, and assisting clients through the enrollment and underwriting processes. The Insurance Professional maintains accurate records, follows up with existing clients to review and update policies, and participates in educational sessions and team meetings to stay current on product changes and regulations. The role also involves building referral networks, attending local events as needed, and collaborating with colleagues to support shared sales and service goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance information clearly and respectfully.
  • Sales and consultative skills, including needs analysis, solution recommendation, and effective follow-up with prospective and current clients.
  • Organizational and administrative abilities, such as accurate documentation, time management, and attention to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to learn and apply product knowledge across Medicare, ACA, life, and final expense lines, including ongoing updates and training.
  • Comfort working in an on-site environment in Houston, TX, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related client-facing field is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant state insurance licenses (or willingness and ability to obtain them within a specified period).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in insurance or business are beneficial.
