Job description

Salary: From $45.00 Hourly

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist Assistant at The Allicock Group under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists deliver therapy services to students in DC. This role involves assisting with assessments, implementing treatment plans, and providing valuable support in enhancing students' functional abilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Support licensed occupational therapists in conducting student assessments.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalized therapy plans and interventions.
  • Work with student on specific exercises and activities to improve daily functioning.
  • Document students' progress and responses to therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to adjust treatment plans based on student progress.
  • Create a safe and motivating therapy environment.


Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Occupational Therapy Assistance.
  • Understanding of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and contribute to therapy plans.
  • Patient and supportive demeanor.
  • Commitment to assisting clients in achieving their goals.
