Job description

Data Center Technician III – Multiple Shifts Available (Day / Swing / Night) 

We’re hiring experienced Data Center Technicians (Level III) to support operations within a large-scale, mission-critical data center environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of facility infrastructure and supporting customer equipment in a highly reliable, uptime-focused facility.

Technicians in this role work across mechanical, electrical, and network infrastructure systems, ensuring the data center operates safely and efficiently while supporting ongoing customer installations and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain critical facility systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, cooling systems, and HVAC
  • Support fiber and copper cabling installations, cross connects, and structured cabling infrastructure
  • Perform rack and stack, cabinet builds, cage builds, and equipment installations
  • Troubleshoot and respond to alerts from facility monitoring systems
  • Support remote hands requests and customer infrastructure deployments
  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities and system inspections
  • Track and document work orders, incidents, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors on infrastructure upgrades and repairs

Environment

This position supports a large-scale, enterprise data center environment supporting mission-critical infrastructure for multiple customers. Technicians will work with advanced electrical and mechanical systems as well as structured cabling and network hardware.

Experience Preferred

  • 2+ years working in data centers, critical facilities, telecommunications, or industrial environments
  • Experience with structured cabling, fiber/copper termination, and rack installations
  • Familiarity with UPS systems, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, or HVAC
  • Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and respond to facility alerts
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a process-driven environment
