Position OverviewWe’re seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a growing IT infrastructure team responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in routing, switching, and network security who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the organization’s network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Enterprise routing and switching
• Firewall administration and network security
• TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, NAT, and VPN technologies
• Experience troubleshooting complex network issues across large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, redundancy, and high-availability designs.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CCNA certification preferred (CCNP is a plus).
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or Check Point.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud or data center environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing technologies in complex enterprise environments.
• Manage and maintain firewall technologies, including policy creation, security updates, VPN configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
• Respond to network incidents and perform root cause analysis to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Support LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and Internet connectivity across the organization.
• Collaborate with systems, security, and infrastructure teams on network-related projects and initiatives.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure improvements with minimal downtime.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance activities as needed.
