Job description

Job Summary:  Performs invoicing and clerical duties for the Texas First Rentals Machine Sales Departments. Will provide superior customer service to internal and external customers in alignment with Texas First Rentals Vision, Values and Mission statement

Essential Functions:

  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains all sales/ lease invoice and agreement files to ensure accuracy, availability and timeliness under direct supervision from team lead and supervisor
  • Assist in the purchase of EPP and application to the asset
  • Work with Cat Financial to provide the support needed to fund a deal
  • Collaborate with Texas First and Holt CAT to drive HoltUsed.com volume
  • Responds to basic inquiries and provides data related to sales/lease agreements/invoices as directed by team lead or supervisor for customers and/or co-workers in a manner that ensures accurate communication and information flow to support department activities
  • Collaborates with team lead and supervisor in order to provide a rational approach to the processes involved in identifying and defining problems/goals, implementing alternative solution strategies
  • Calculates commissions on new and conversion machine sales as well as on leases; prepare monthly commission statements in an accurate and timely manner to pay the sales force according to current commission scales with guidance from team lead or supervisor
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Complies with company policy regarding regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned under direct supervision         

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of CAT products and the relationship between Finance and Sales Department
  • Basic level of transaction code/entry code knowledge, with understanding of invoices, CAT credit statements, finance payoffs and journal entries/coding
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Ability to work under direct supervision, alongside team leads and supervisor while setting goals and action plans
  • Some knowledge of internal Dealer Business System (DBS), or a similar invoicing system

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one-year experience required, or more than three years of experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in business or finance preferred

  • None

Travel:

  • Travel may be required upon assignment (less than 5%)

  • This role involves extended periods viewing computer screens, with repetitive data entry

Work Environment:

  • This job is performed inside a professional office environment, in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Frequently works at a fast-pace with unscheduled interruptions and may also require overtime, determined by workload and at supervisor discretion.
