Job description

We are looking for an A level Diesel Mechanic Heavy Trucks class 6 - 8 and trailers to join our team ! You will be responsible for repairing various tractor and trailer systems.

Responsibilities:

Repair semi tractors, medium and heavy duty trucks and many different types of trailers -

End dump, flatbed, step deck, Conestoga type, dry van, refrigerated van, tanker and more.

Repair and service brakes, suspension, air systems, electrical repairs from minor to major

Perform routine tractor and trailer service and maintenance

Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components, diagnose problems and repair them

Install clutches, drive-line and axle diagnostics and repairs

Perform safety inspections

Perform full level 1 DOT inspections

Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer ever time

Qualifications:

WITH YOUR APPLICATION - SEND A PICTURE OF YOUR TOOLBOX AND SOME PICS OF OPEN DRAWERS SHOWING THE CONTENTS

Must have valid CDL license

Previous experience of at least four years as a diesel mechanic

Must have own tool set. (we provide many specialty tools)

Knowledge of shop equipment, tools and safety procedures

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills and the ability to think outside the box

Deadline and detail-oriented - QUALITY WORK

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Team player willing to work together

Always quality control work

Required Skills:

Willing to work in hot or cold temperatures.

Knowledge Of Drum and Disc Brakes

Experience Troubleshooting and Diagnosing computer control systems for late model Semi Trucks and trailers using diagnostic software for

- Eaton, PACCAR, Cummins, Detroit, International, Allison, Mack, Volvo, Hino, Wabco, Bendix and other similar systems

- Aftertreatment Systems for the major manufacturers

Knowledge Of Manual And Automatic Transmission and Clutch Systems And Be Willing To Be Trained

Knowledge Of Proper Wheel End Repair And Service Procedures

Knowledge Of Brake Systems Both Drum And Disc

Knowledge of Air Systems Functions, Diagnostics and Repair

Knowledge of Suspension Systems for Tractor and Trailer
