Our Team, Your Impact
The Director Commercial Quality US is responsible for Commercial Quality activities in the United States. This includes US Quality Systems for product distribution, warehousing, and importation; team budget and resources; compliance activities including complaints and recall management; regulatory event reporting and drug shortage reporting; Health Authority and US FDA interactions; continuous improvement initiatives; and quality/regulatory compliance of commercial engagements (internal and external). This role also informs strategic business plans impacting quality and compliance, including new product launch quality oversight.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- The Director Commercial Quality US serves as the Quality Business Partner to the Commercial US Teams and coordinates critical quality incidents impacting drug supply continuity.
- Develops and sustains strategic programs that establish robust, compliant quality systems in CQ US and participates in US Commercial activities.
- Ensures operational implementation of the Quality Management System in compliance with GMP/GDP and Teva Corporate standards.
- Oversees quality and compliance metrics, manages quality councils, and develops remediation plans based on trends and risk signals.
- Promotes a quality culture within Commercial Quality units in the US.
- Defines a strategic plan and roadmap to deploy or consolidate Commercial Quality Management System elements within US Commercial units, including coordination with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, and Pharmacovigilance.
- Represents US Commercial Quality in project deployments.
- Ensures Local Commercial Quality Units have adequate GMP and GDP training as applicable.
- Initiates continuous improvement of processes and standards in line with FDA regulations and expectations.
- Ensures inspection readiness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinates critical incidents and Quality Alignment Meetings with Global Quality units and Quality Operations; develops communications to Health Authorities.
Leadership and Management
- Manages the Commercial Quality Teams in the US to provide quality and compliance oversight of commercial operations.
- Builds and maintains a high-performing team and develops talents.
- Performs annual processes such as budgeting, performance reviews, mid-year reviews, year-end reviews, and performance management.
- Provides leadership, mentoring, and professional guidance.
- Defines annual objectives for the region aligned with Commercial Quality, US business priorities, and growth strategies.
Your Skills and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, Healthcare or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the role.
- Preferred 10 years of Quality/Compliance Leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical (or related) industries in a GxP environment.
- Functional knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, US FDA and Regulatory Compliance.
- Demonstrated strong managerial skills and ability to lead teams to high performance.

Salary Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $173,000 and $216,000. Starting salary may vary by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
