Front of the House staff members at Ten Thousand Coffee will be responsible for carrying out operational duties at the coffee shop.
Maintenance of Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean working environment by taking on various tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to: Cleaning, clearing and washing dishes, sweeping,
- dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations and taking out the trash
- Uphold and follow all food, health and safety guideline
Order Taking & Cash Handling
- Accurately take and process guest orders
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate accounting of sales
Beverage & Food Preparation
- Create and serve a selection of Ten Thousand Coffees beverages using various brewing methods
- Prepare and serve a selection of Ten Thousand Coffees per recipe
- Remain knowledgeable on Ten Thousand Coffees most current food and beverage menus, as well as all the preparation methods required for the items
- Uphold and follow all food, health and safety guidelines
Customer Service Excellence
- Provide a warm, friendly and professional experience for every guest
- Address guest inquires and complaints efficiently and with a positive attitude
- Offer suggestions and recommend signature items or seasonal items to enhance guest experience
Inventory & Stock management
- Assist with restocking and inventory organization as needed
- Report on short stock levels of consumables (cups, lids, napkins, etc)
Adherence to Brand Standards
- Promote a safe and respectful working environment
- Follow the cafรฉโs protocols and standards to maintain the brandโs quality and image
Requirements:
- 6 months - 1 year experience in a fast paced coffee shop environment preferred but not required
- High energy and self motivated
- Flexible schedule with mornings, evenings, holiday(s) and weekend availability

Hourly Pay: $17 ~ $18/hr base pay + Tips
Store Hours:
- Weekdays: 7AM - 7PM
- Weekends: 10AM - 5PM
