Job description

Position Overview

Personnel Solutions Plus (PSP) is seeking an experienced Recruiter / Account Manager to support the staffing needs of our St. Petersburg branch. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, client relationship management, employee placement, and workforce coordination for general labor, industrial, warehouse, construction, and light-skilled positions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can quickly fill urgent staffing requests, and effectively manages both client relationships and a temporary workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiter

  • Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates for general labor, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, and light industrial positions.
  • Maintain a qualified talent pipeline to support ongoing and urgent staffing needs.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and ensure completion of all required employment documentation.
  • Coordinate employee assignments, scheduling, and workforce availability.
  • Manage call-offs, attendance issues, and last-minute staffing replacements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and assignment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable labor laws.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and workforce development efforts.

Account Manager

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Coordinate employee placements and ensure staffing levels meet client requirements.
  • Monitor employee performance and address attendance, productivity, and conduct concerns.
  • Resolve client and employee issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct worksite visits to ensure safety compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Track employee hours, attendance, and assignment status.
  • Partner with clients to identify workforce needs and provide staffing solutions.
  • Maintain organized records of client communications and service activities.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, account management, or workforce coordination.
  • Experience recruiting and managing general labor, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or light industrial employees.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients, job orders, and staffing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support client and workforce requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and staffing, recruiting, or scheduling software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
