Entry-Level Installation Technician Spotter

Position Overview

TEKsystems is seeking reliable, entry-level technicians to support installation teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will primarily assist lead technicians by maintaining safety barriers around lifts, gathering and transporting materials and tools, and providing support to technicians working in lifts.

The work environment will be highly active and congested with multiple trades on-site. Candidates must be comfortable working in large manufacturing facilities or commercial construction settings and be able to remain productive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain safety barriers and work zones around lifts and active work areas.
• Assist technicians by gathering, delivering, and organizing tools and materials.
• Support technicians working in lifts by feeding materials and providing general labor assistance.
• Follow all site safety regulations and procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while staying focused on assigned tasks.
• Maintain a professional attitude and strong work ethic throughout the project.

Required Skills

• Installation experience
• Low-voltage cabling
• Cat6 installation and support
• General construction or industrial site experience

Qualifications

• Must provide and use personal hand tools (major tools will be supplied).
• Must possess a valid OSHA 10 Certification prior to starting.
• Must possess a valid Lift Certification prior to starting.
• Ability to work safely in large, busy manufacturing or commercial construction environments.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Strong references demonstrating reliability, accountability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
