Through our long-standing partnerships with processors, original equipment manufacturers, and product designers, we've worked for decades to tackle manufacturing and business challenges through sustainable, future-minded solutions.
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Clinton, Tennessee facility. This position will be on 2nd shift which is 3:00PM-11:30PM, Monday-Friday. Starting rate for this position $25.00 and up, depending upon experience.
Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (3:00pm -11:30pm)
Location: Clinton, TN Department: Maintenance Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position supports production by minimizing downtime, completing work orders, and maintaining compliance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and actively support a culture of safety.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on production and support equipment, including mixers, extruders, dryers, and related systems.
  • Complete preventive maintenance, work orders, and equipment improvement projects as assigned through the CMMS system.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Communicate effectively with production operators and supervisors regarding equipment conditions and repair needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities in the CMMS.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance and work areas.
  • Provide guidance to machine operators on proper equipment operation when necessary.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and controls wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC inputs and outputs (PLC programming not required).
  • Proficiency using diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, laptops, micrometers, calipers, infrared measurement devices).
  • Experience with common shop equipment and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members and supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
  • HVAC experience with process chillers.
  • Electro-Mechanical education, training, or certification.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs as required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in an industrial/manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and mechanical equipment.

Additional Information
  • This position may require overtime, shift work, or on-call availability based on operational needs.
  • Employment is contingent upon meeting company background, drug screening, and pre-employment requirements, where applicable.
