Job description

Job Title: Medical Sales Acct Exec - Iowa (Dubuque)
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Dubuque, IA (onsite)
Contract Duration: PERM
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

SCHEDULE & TERRITORY

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Full time salaried position
  • Daily field based travel throughout assigned rural territory

Coverage Area

  • Approximately 75 mile radius surrounding Dubuque, Iowa
  • Rural territory with several miles between accounts
  • Frequent in person visits to hospitals, physician offices, and referral partners

LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Candidates should reside within 30 miles of Dubuque, Iowa

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Reliable personal vehicle required
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for approved territory travel

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales experience preferred but not required
  • DME or medical sales background strongly preferred
  • New college graduates will be considered
  • Former athletes and competitive backgrounds are highly encouraged

  • Territory management and relationship development are critical for success

OVERVIEW

  • This is a true territory ownership sales role focused on relationship building, referral development, and business growth.
  • Identify, develop, and expand referral relationships with hospitals, physician offices, clinics, and healthcare providers
  • Educate referral sources on clients products, services, and value-based care solutions
  • Prospect, present, and close new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow an assigned rural territory
  • Partner with operations and clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient service
  • Track sales activity and territory trends through call planning and reporting systems
  • Conduct face to face meetings throughout the assigned territory

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • DME, respiratory, medical, or B2B sales experience
  • Leadership experience in athletics, academics, or prior employment
  • CRM experience preferred
  • New college graduates with strong ambition and communication skills encouraged to apply

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • CRM or sales platform experience preferred

  • Standard office and mobile technology

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Daily driving throughout assigned territory
  • Standing, walking, sitting, talking, and listening for extended periods
  • Ability to transport sales and marketing materials
  • Frequent face to face meetings with referral sources
