Your Essential Duties Will Include:
  • Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate surgical procedures
  • Maintaining sterile fields while following infection control protocols diligently
  • Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants
  • Managing surgical equipment effectively before, during, and after procedures
  • Monitoring and maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies for each operation
  • Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Ensuring accurate surgical counts and maintaining thorough documentation
Education Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent
Certifications Required:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is mandatory
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hiring)
