Job description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role as an individual contributor within a maintenance team, ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of conveyor systems and production machinery. This position involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and calibration of equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining safety standards. Working 12-hour day and night shifts, the technician also installs and removes industrial electric motors and gearboxes in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Bilingual skills and welding experience are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repair and emergency repairs on conveyor belts and production machinery
- Execute preventive maintenance and routine servicing
- Maintain alignment and calibration of machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Ensure safety compliance across all maintenance activities
- Provide technical support to the maintenance team
- Install and remove industrial electric motors and gearboxes
- Maintain and service conveyor belt systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Experience with welding
- Bilingual skills
