Tatari Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Data Scientist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Data Scientist, you need a strong background in statistics, programming (often Python or R), and data analysis, typically supported by a degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, data visualization tools, and big data platforms like TensorFlow, Tableau, and Hadoop, as well as certifications in data science, are highly valued. Excellent problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly set outstanding data scientists apart. These skills and qualities are crucial for extracting actionable insights from data, driving business decisions, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

What are some typical projects Data Scientists work on, and how do they collaborate with other teams?

Data Scientists often work on projects such as building predictive models, analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, and developing data-driven solutions to business problems. They regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure that their insights are actionable and aligned with business goals. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as Data Scientists frequently need to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders and incorporate feedback from various departments.

What are Data Scientists?

Data Scientists are professionals who use statistical, analytical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data. They extract insights and trends from complex data sets to help organizations make data-driven decisions. Data Scientists often work with machine learning, data mining, and big data technologies to build predictive models and solve business problems. Their work bridges the gap between technical data analysis and actionable business strategy.

What is the job of a data scientist?

A data scientist analyzes large datasets to extract insights and support decision-making using statistical methods, programming, and data visualization tools. They often work with machine learning models and require skills in programming languages like Python or R, as well as knowledge of databases and data analysis techniques.

What is the difference between Data Scientist vs Data Analyst?

AspectData Scientist
Required CredentialsDegree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; often requires advanced degrees
Work EnvironmentResearch and development, predictive modeling, machine learning projects
Employer & Industry UsageTech companies, finance, healthcare, consulting firms
Common Search & ComparisonOften compared due to overlapping skills in data analysis and modeling

Data Scientists focus on building predictive models, advanced analytics, and machine learning, often requiring higher-level technical skills and education. Data Analysts primarily interpret existing data, generate reports, and support decision-making with descriptive analytics. While both roles analyze data, Data Scientists handle complex modeling and predictive tasks, whereas Data Analysts focus on data interpretation and reporting.

Job description

Senior Client Services Manager, Growth

Tatari is on a mission to revolutionize TV advertising. Founded in 2016 to help transform the antiquated world of TV advertising through the intelligent application of AI and machine learning, Tatari helps some of the world's fastest growing brands including Chime, Calm, Tecovas, Manscapped, Saatva, and Liquid I.V., reach their customers using linear and streaming TV ads. Our platform combines sophisticated media buying with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience, enabling businesses of any size to advertise on TV.

That approach has earned Tatari broad industry recognition, including being named Best CTV AdTech Platform in the 8th annual MarTech Breakthrough Awards, as well as honors from Digiday (Best Connected TV Platform), AdExchanger (Most Innovative TV Advertising Technology), and Business Insider (Hottest AdTech Companies). Tatari has also been recognized as the Best Place to Work by Inc. Magazine. Backed by an executive team of former founders and senior leaders from companies including Shazam, TrueCar, AdapTV, LiveRail, Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Yahoo, Tatari continues to scale rapidly as TV advertising enters its next major era.

Tatari is growing and we're looking for a Senior Client Services Manager to join our Growth team! We're looking for a strategic, client-facing leader to join our Growth team and drive performance for a portfolio of SMB clients investing in TV and CTV. In this role, you will own post-sales relationship management and campaign execution end-to-end, serving as a trusted advisor to your clients. You'll lead strategy across their entire TV journey—translating performance data into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes.

As a Senior Client Services Manager, you'll operate as a high-impact individual contributor, helping shape best practices, influencing client strategy at a higher level, and elevating the broader team. This role offers a clear path to people management as the team continues to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic lead and trusted advisor across SMB and more complex/high-impact client accounts
  • Own end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization, with a focus on driving scalable business outcomes
  • Translate complex performance data into forward-looking strategic recommendations and growth plans
  • Proactively identify unstated client needs and new opportunities, influencing direction beyond day-to-day execution
  • Act as a subject matter expert across Tatari's ecosystem, leveraging cross-functional partners (Data Science, Engineering, etc.) to solve complex challenges
  • Lead clients through their broader TV strategy—driving education, adoption, and long-term success
  • Act as the expert voice in client conversations, confidently leading strategy discussions and pushing thinking forward
  • Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring junior team members and shaping best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution, preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Analytics
  • 6+ years of experience in post-sales paid media account management, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders and C-level executives
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience buying, trading, or managing campaigns across TV, digital, or programmatic platforms (e.g., DSPs)
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate others through mentorship, training, or cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong background supporting performance-driven brands or agencies, with demonstrated success optimizing toward CPA, CAC, ROAS, and other business outcomes
  • Solid understanding of the streaming and programmatic advertising ecosystem (linear TV experience is a plus)
  • Proven ability to analyze performance data, synthesize insights, and communicate clear, compelling narratives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and listening skills, with the confidence to lead client conversations and influence outcomes

Benefits:

  • Total compensation ($110,000-$140,000/Annually)
  • Equity compensation
  • Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents
  • Unlimited PTO and sick days
  • Snacks, drinks, and catered lunches at the office
  • Team building events
  • $1,000 annual continued education benefit
  • $500 WFH reimbursement
  • Monthly lifestyle spending reimbursements
  • FSA and commuter benefits
  • Monthly Company Wellness Day Off
  • Hybrid RTO of 2 days per week. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION

At Tatari, we believe in the importance of cultivating teams with diverse backgrounds and offering equal opportunities to all. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and diversity is celebrated.
