Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing valuable insights to help drive our business strategies. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support for business operations.
Respond to financial inquiries and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to facilitate continuous improvement.
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.CPA certification or other relevant certifications is a plus.
