Now Hiring Servers at The Pour House in North Wales, PA!
The Pour House has its roots as a true pioneer in the craft beer movement, creating "a better beer bar" where guests can tap into an unrivaled selection of beer, spirits, craft cocktails and so much more.
With locations in Westmont, NJ and Exton amp; North Wales, PA, The Pour House continues to impress as a unique gathering place for beer lovers and non-beer lovers alike. The menu is expansive, featuring a wide array of sharable appetizers, upscale burgers, beyond ordinary salads, and other delicious selections in a comfortable environment.
Reports to: FOH Manager/ GM
PJWRG Must Have KEY Personalities:

  • Someone who takes pride in their appearance and the way they present themselves to others is a must when you’re running the show with PJWRG! We’re looking for someone who puts their best foot forward every single day.
  • Staying “calm, cool, and collected”. Your composure and ability to handle pressure in a high-volume atmosphere is something that will keep the guests coming back time and time again.
  • Our ideal employee is a leader in every sense. You MUST be responsible and confident in your position, its requirements and how you intend to carry out your duties!
Server Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
  • Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Properly ID all guests 35 amp; younger.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and timely enter orders in our point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
  • Maintain clean service areas.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change.
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
  • Be ready amp; willing to assist with clearing amp; resetting tables.
  • Be ready and willing to assist bus-person with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Utilize POS system properly to ensure accurate sales data and the Hot Schedules application for scheduling and communication amongst the restaurant team.
  • Read all messages sent from Management via HotSchedules before coming in for each shift. Important information will be communicated via HotSchedules that must be followed amp; implemented for your next shift.
Server Qualifications:
  • Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Must be TIPS or RAMP certified before first non-training shift.
  • Possess basic math skills, handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
  • Ideally looking for weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
