Registered Nurse (RN) – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join a respected healthcare organization in Los Alamos, New Mexico. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable transition from the operating room to recovery.

As a valued member of the perioperative team, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow healthcare professionals to monitor patient recovery, manage post-operative care, and promote positive patient outcomes. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $65,000 – $75,000 annually and the chance to grow your career in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Experience caring for patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Knowledge of post-anesthesia recovery protocols and pain management practices.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
