Job description
This Optometrist job can be either part-time or full-time, giving you the flexibility to adjust to your career goals and needs. This practice is networked with a group that provides the opportunity to learn best practices from top professionals nationwide. The network also provides marketing strategy and materials to help the practice grow, building your clientele and community relationships, and supporting your career stability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct eye exams
- Create treatment plans based on exam results
- Depending on state law, prescribed medications to treat a variety of optical diseases
- Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Strong background in great customer service
- Emphasis on the patient relationship
- Team oriented
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- O.D. License to practice in Ohio
Preferred:
- Prior experience as an Optometrist
